Oversharing like a boss
Name: Finn is easier than my real name
Origin of danskatten: It's Swedish. "Dans" as in "dance", "katten" as in "(the) cat". So basically it means "the dance cat". Which is ironic as I can't actually dance, haha
Age: I was born in -83, so you do the maths
Pets: My darling cat. I lost his litter brother 2017 at the age of 11, RIP
Ethnic background: Whiter than white; half Swedish and half Irish. Born and raised and have always lived in Sweden
Languages: Fluent in English and Swedish; rudimentary Japanese; trying to at least learn Hangul; studied French, Latin, Russian, Spanish in school but nothing really stuck
I have lived with depression for the majority of my life, from pre-teen to now. I also have social anxiety and ADD. A wonderful combo that makes my life... interesting. In the Chinese proverb sense of the word.
Unlike most ARMY, I don't remember when or how I discovered BTS. I think I was simply wasting time on YouTube and came across a MV of theirs--most likely Dope. I fell in the trap of "I just want to know his name" (Namjoon) and subsequently tumbled down that rabbit hole and have been in here ever since.
Because of my depression, I avoid the majority of drama on stan-twitter. Please don't drag me into any.
I've always had a love of the written word and devoured books as a child and teen. I don't read as much anymore, apart from fanfiction; however, I'm trying to get back into it as, along with writing itself, there is no better way to improve your own prose.
Other hobbies/likes include: gaming; tabletop roleplaying; drawing; singing; Critical Role; Kingdom; Buffy; Terry Pratchett; Mamamoo; etc, etc.
